We visit your pub at Christmas for the 'Fahy Family Annual Christmas Get together' The food was melt in the mouth and the service impeccable. Your real ales are a reminder of when we all lived in Battersea and Wandsworth - a fine selection and all in good order. "Hello, we recently came to the Chequers for dinner, last Wed infact and just want to thank you for a very nice evening, we were served by Lucy who was very plesant and very good at her job. The food was very good, I had the steak which was served on a wooden board, this I am afraid I didn't like (the board I mean) because I had a sauce which would have run off into the grooves and I'm not a lover of eating off of wooden boards but Lucy was there getting me a plate and all was solved. We had brought along one of my husbands clients and he had a wonderful meal and complimented our choice of restaurant, we were pleasently surprised as we had been to the Chequeres last year with not a very good experience. The whole feeling of the restaurant has changed and all for the better, so we will be back, thank you again and a very Happy New Year!"
